Easy Ezekiel Pizza Pull-Apart Puffs Recipe

These Pizza Pull-Apart Puffs are a variation on Monkey Bread and a real hit with pizza lovers (yes, you can make Monkey Bread with my Ezekiel Bread Recipe just as easily as you can with pre-made biscuit dough.)

Create the Basic Recipe (or any variation previously mentioned) on the Dough cycle of your bread machine.
When your dough has about 5 minutes to complete, add the following ingredients to a large mixing bowl and mix them thoroughly:

  • 1/3 C Olive Oil
  • 2 ½ C Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • ½ C Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 T (or 1 capful) Mrs. Dash Italian Seasoning Blend
  • ½ Clove Minced Garlic
  • 1 5-oz Package Sliced Pepperoni sliced into quarters (or minis)

Once the dough has completed its cycle, remove it from the pan and place it onto a lightly floured surface.

Cut it into quarters and then cut each quarter into 16 relatively equal pieces (about the same size as ¼ ready-made biscuit).

Add the pieces to the mixture in the mixing bowl as you cut them and toss them with a wooden spoon so that each piece of dough and the toppings are evenly distributed.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Spray a 12-cup muffin tin with non-stick spray or coat a large cast iron frying pan with olive oil. Distribute the dough mixture evenly in your choice of baking pan.

Bake 20 minutes in a muffin pan or 30 minutes in a single pan.

Remove from the oven and cover with foil or wax paper and a towel to retain most of the moisture.

Serve warm plain or with a marinara sauce for dipping.
